Kimberly Moy Kimberly is a marketing professional originally from Seaford, New York. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations from Boston University. In 2009, Kimberly moved to Orlando to pursue her dreams of becoming a Shamu trainer, but ended up working at another theme park instead. In her spare time, Kimberly is a regional editor for BroadwayWorld Orlando. When she's not working, she spends time with her boxer-pitbull mix, Colby.

I am a Scrooge when it comes to Christmas time. I'm that person who hasn't seen any holiday classic movies. I decorate enough to blend into society and usually only listen to Christmas music on rotation at your favorite theme park. So it takes a lot to warm the coldness of my heart and while Garden Theatre's MIRACLE ON 34th STREET did not turn me into a nostalgic mess, it did allow me to appreciate the meaning of the holidays.

This non-profit group uses the funds to help those suffering from HIV/AIDS. HIV/AIDS affects people across the nation and that fact was not lost on UCF Senior Gabe Friedman. Gabe and other UCF students are hosting a fundraiser cabaret on October 30th to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Below, Gabe discusses with Broadway World what he's been up to and a little more about this fundraiser.

TheatreWorks Florida is known throughout the Orlando theater scene for putting on hit productions like Legally Blonde in 2012, Sweeney Todd in 2014, and Nunsense in 2013. If you've seen any of those shows you know that the quality of theater is best in the business. This year, TheatreWorks Florida was awarded grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and United Arts of Central Florida. These grants will support their community outreach program TheatreCares, which brings full-quality productions to education locations that may not otherwise be able to experience live theater.
