First GLEE Summer Tour Stops Revealed

(Jan. 22 10:01 AM) - As previously reported, GLEE returns to FOX on April 13 at 9pm on Tuesdays, and while the show will be off the air for the summer, the GLEE cast is going live on tour by June. Today, the first tour cities have been revealed! According to gleefan.com, "The cities that have been 100% confirmed are: Orlando, New York, LA, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, and Portland."

Chita Rivera to Kick Off Concert Tour in Florida 1/17; Addt'l Dates Announced

(Jan. 20 1:30 AM) - Two-Time Tony Award winner Chita Rivera will perform songs from her legendary Broadway career in her own concert CHITA RIVERA: MY BROADWAY. The tour kicks off on Sunday, January 17 at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Florida. Rivera will be accompanied by an 11-piece orchestra, led by musical director Michael Croiter, and will perform selections from her most celebrated musicals, including numbers from West Side Story ("America"), Sweet Charity ("Where Am I Going?" and "Big Spender"), Chicago ("All That Jazz" and "Nowadays"), Kiss of the Spider Woman, Bye, Bye, Birdie and The Rink, and featuring the music of Leonard Bernstein, John Kander & Fred Ebb, Charles Strouse, Stephen Sondheim and Cy Coleman among others.

(Jan. 14 11:21 AM) - The Giver, based on the Newbery Medal-winning book written by Lois Lowery, adapted by Eric Coble will compel audiences at The REP as its fourth show of the 2009-2010 Season. The show opens January 29, 2010 and runs until February 28, 2010 in the Universal Orlando Theatre.
